We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on automation using Cypress, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and free of defects. You will also be responsible for identifying and documenting issues, as well as creating and executing manual and automated test cases.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation
Proficiency with Cypress, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Experience with API testing
Strong understanding of software development and testing best practices
Experience with agile development methodologies
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with integrating automation with CI
Good English communication skills both verbal and writing
Experience working remotely with fully distributed teams
Proactive / responsible / self-motivated person able to work with minimal supervision on dynamic environments
Goal oriented able to commit on deliverables to be completed as well as quickly escalate problems to the managers
Good time management skills to plan the execution of the assigned tickets along the sprint (timeline)
Responsibilities:
Attend daily meetings / Summarize work completed/daily targets/blockers
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cypress, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
Write and execute manual and automated test cases.
Identify and document defects and issues found during testing.
Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and maintainability

You must have full EST business hours overlap.
