QA Lead

Our team is looking for a QA Lead to help build, manage, and deploy our soon-to-grow QA Team. The Quality assurance lead position will help companies establish quality regulations for products and employees. They must analyze data to develop plans to recruit, motivate, and encourage employees while striving to improve processes and product quality.


What you will do:

  • Lead the implementation of quality management policies, best practices, and processes on projects

  • Collaborate with data architects, data SMEs, and technical and non-technical project staff to create and manage test data for use on projects

  • Manage the process to execute test cases (manual or automated) and determine remediation steps based on the outcome

  • Utilize tools like Jira to manage testing activities, defect tracking, testing reports, etc. on projects

  • Understand and provide constructive feedback on requirements from the manual testing and test automation perspective

  • Developing and implementing QA strategies, methodologies, and processes to ensure efficient and effective testing practices

  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing

  • Identify and prioritize test cases based on risk analysis and business impact




Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of QA experience, with at least 4+ years in a Senior QA role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field.

  • A combination of equivalent education and work experience may be substituted for the above requirements.

  • Experience implementing end-to-end testing for enterprise data platforms, data analysis, and visualization solutions, including BI platforms

  • Experience working with Agile and iterative development methodologies

  • Knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards and reviews, version control, and testing

  • Proficiency with automation frameworks and tools for test automation
